The Orion collection is based off one of my favorite constellations, the Orion the Hunter constellation. One of the most distinct constellations in the night sky is “Orion’s Belt” is a trio of stars that bisect the larger constellation. The star arrangement is named after the greek legend Orion. The warrior was a bit of a bad boy which ultimately led to his demise and final way we see him today arranged in stars. The story goes that he tried to challenge Gaia, the goddess of the earth, and he lost.⠀
I think this story is a beautiful parable about how nature always wins. We are part of this bigger ecosystem that is so much more powerful than us. It is a story to stay humble and appreciate the earth.
The Orion collection is a minimalist take on this celestial design where I have explored the 3 stone concept. I think this collection resonates so well with my customers because the pieces are so wearable and perfect proportions for everyday.
