Color: Which signifies the stone’s transparency, with colorless diamonds considered the most valuable. Graded from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow).

Clarity: Refers to the inclusions (internal flaws) and blemishes (surface imperfections) in the stone. Graded from “Flawless” (FL) to “Included” (I3).

Carat: Signifies the stone’s weight. 1 carat is equivalent to 200 milligrams. Although most buyers focus on carat size, the cut and quality are what will determine the overall value of a diamond or gemstone. While these 4Cs are important to understand, they don’t paint a full picture.
